Drawing up a bill of quantities

Bill of quantities

The Bill of Quantities includes a list of materials, equipment, works and additional costs required for the implementation of the project. The statement may have a different level of detail, depending on the level of elaboration of project documentation, available data, and the purpose of further use. Based on this type of documentation, it is possible to draw up a high-quality estimate for the types of work and objects in general. Also, the Statement is provided to contractors to fill in the costs, thereby standardizing the format for issuing commercial proposals from participants.

Preparation of a defective statement

A defective statement is compiled when planning work on the current or major repairs of buildings. This is a document containing a list of defects in building structures and engineering equipment of a capital construction facility, determined visually and by examining building structures. When planning for current and overhaul repairs, estimate documentation is compiled precisely on the basis of defective statements, especially when a major overhaul project is not being developed.
